I was honored to be invited to speak at Stu McLaren’s Idea Incubator in Anaheim earlier this month. To be in the company of people I admire so much, like Stu and Alex Mandossian, Michel and Sylvie Fortin, and people I just met like Jermaine Greer and Ray Edwards, well….it was great.
I’d heard a lot about this event, and of course, Stu is a talented, energetic and heart centered young man. He’d come up with the Idea Incubator to put successful internet marketers in a room with entrepreneurs for 3 full days. Between the talks, the networking, the Round Table discussions and the advanced study products and support offered, you could get injured from the Ideas flying around the room!
But what happens to those Ideas when they hatch?
In my lead off to the event, I talked about the difference between “Information” and “Transformation”. Most training events fill our heads with tons and tons of information, so much that we literally can feel nauseous and spacey by the end. It’s like pouring tea into a tea cup, the cup can only hold so much.
For many of us, when we go home to our regular routines, out of the high energy of the event, we retreat to established habits, and we don’t implement any of the ideas we generated. So what is needed is “transformation”, making the cup bigger, expanding our consciousness, the container of who we are, what we believe is possible, so that we can hold more, Be more and consequently, Have more.
To be successful Implementers, you have to transform your habits, and replace them with new ones that support action.
